I am the proud owner of Rusty, he is a six-year-old Working Cocker Spaniel.
Rusty has been the best friend I could have ever asked for.
Living in a rural area, he helped me feel safe and secure when I was out exploring the fields and forests. He always listened to my stories about my day and never judged me when I made a mistake. He was always there to greet me with his tail wagging as soon as he heard my car pull up into the driveway every day.
A lifelong dog lover and owner of spaniels, I've worked with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I specialize in socialization, training and behavior modification.
I am a dog trainer and have been dog training for over 10 years. I specialize in writing blogs to help owners who want to better understand their dog's behavior, as well as those who are struggling with socialization or training.
As owners of Working Cocker Spaniels will know, they are a breed unlike any other, full of energy, always alert and demand a lot of attention and time.
Rusty will always be on the go, even after an hours walk in the fields and forest he will be back home wanting to play. I have found the best game to play is hiding treats around the house, this gives his mind a full workout.
